Making Money with Acorns

Acorns are our currency. Here's how voting, jobs, farming, and trading fill your pouch.

A busy blocky market street with trading stalls, crates of produce, and hanging lanterns.

The Short Version

You start with 100 Acorns. Check your balance with /balance, pay a friend with /pay Name 50, and see the leaderboard with /baltop. Everything below is a faucet; the market, heads, and town costs are the drains.

Voting, the Reliable Daily Income

The Daily Round on our Vote page is twelve sites; each pays 20 Acorns and the full round pays 240 for about four minutes of clicking. Run /vote in game for the same links. This is the steadiest income on the server and it directly helps new neighbors find us.

Jobs, Earning While You Play

/jobs browse lists every job. Join up to three with /jobs join farmer (or miner, builder, fisherman, woodcutter, and more), and the server pays you automatically for doing what the job describes. There is an hourly ceiling on job earnings, so relaxed play earns nearly as well as grinding, which is exactly the point. /jobs stats tracks your levels; higher levels pay slightly more.

Selling to the Market

/shop (or /market) opens the server market. The sell screens buy most farmables and materials at floor prices, and /sellgui sells a whole inventory of listed items at once. Market sell prices are deliberately the floor; a player who wants your goods will usually pay more.

Trading with Players

The auction house (/ah) reaches every player on the server: hold an item and run /ah sell 100 to list it (five percent listing fee, listings run two days, five listings at a time). Chest shops work while you sleep: hit your chest once while holding the item you want to sell, type a price in chat, and your shop is open; you can run ten. Undercut the market's ceiling prices and your shop becomes the place to buy.

What to Spend It On

Decorative heads (/hdb, 25 Acorns each, thousands of tiny furniture and food blocks), market goods you do not feel like farming, auction finds, and the big one: founding your town (250) and keeping its upkeep funded (1 Acorn per plot per day). A cushion of a few hundred Acorns makes town life carefree.

The Honest Economics

Prices follow a simple rule: the market's buy price is the ceiling and its sell price is the floor, so player trade always has room to beat both. There is no way to buy Acorns with real money, and there never will be.
